Christine Calcutt wins the Lake Country Community Associations’ Inaugural 50/50 Draw

Lake Country, British Columbia, March 25, 2025- The Lake Country Community Associations of Carr’s Landing, Okanagan Centre, Oyama, and Winfield are very pleased to announce that Christine Calcutt of Oyama is the inaugural winner of the combined Community Associations’ 50/50 draw.

Christine, from Oyama, takes home the 50/50 jackpot, winning $4402.50. “Christine was delighted with her win,” says Barbara Rutherford of the Okanagan Centre Community Hall Association, who helped spearhead the initiative. “The Associations benefit with all proceeds going directly toward enhancing and maintaining our community halls and outdoor spaces,” says Barbara, “We’d like to thank everyone for their participation by buying tickets, and we’re already taking about a second raffle later this year!”
